In the beginning...

The desire to start a blog originated after I began reading other blogs while researching my future trip to Mt. Kilimanjaro. I decided to make a blog or two of my own (kilimanjarotomorrow). We'll see if I can actually keep it going longer than a month into the new year. Perhaps it can serve as my own fossilized, cyberspace footprint. Will it stand the test of time?
